its crazy how much trauma and ptsd he caused her… beat her up, tortured her…. killed her… and shes still have the heart to be kind to him… she saw herself in this child but didnt consider that was HIM who made her helpless and a victim? crazy lol
Logic doesn’t play into the aftereffects of abuse victims. More likely than not, they impart what they learned unto those perceived weaker than themselves, and most horrifically, usually subconsciously so.
I’m kinda speechless that exchange is all she offered to him upon rewinding time…but I couldn’t guarantee I’d be in the mental state to tackle a clearly despised prince’s protection as a count-soon-to-decline’s daughter who was tortured and then “witnessed” her father and brother’s deaths then subsequently was fatally wounded by said Prince. So, yeah…fair bit of realism.
