@algengrutze In addition to what the comment below said, she needs to set a firm example of what happens when the daughter of the Duke is looked down upon by her servants. To prevent future affronts from happening its necessary that she shows the servants that she is not someone they can mess with. And just as the comment below said, the little “joke” the maids played on the FL could have forever ruined her chances of becoming a member of the family so the gravity of the situation is quite serious after all.

The maids disrespected her first and the clothes she was supposed to wear to meet her grandfather would’ve ended with the dress slipping from her body due to its size. Which would be very humiliating and leave a bad impression. She’s not looking down on them she’s teaching them a lesson to not disrespect someone. Try and look at her situation realistically from the time period

Uff, she ist looking down on them quite severly, on top of victimizing herself every 2nd sentence, smelling disrespect in every sentence…. also not too sure where her entitelment stems from; so far, she is a tad annoying to me
