To add to that though both Diana and her brother have this really twisted hobby of stepping on others for their own personal satisfaction. Sorry but I don’t sympathise with Diana at all. The reason :- When she knew Emperor never gonna marry her, she should have packed her bags and leave the palace but she thought she can still boss around New Empress and everything will be under her control, So Emperor was always aware of Diana’s cleaverness, he want her to perform more lowly stuff so that he can toss around her easily in future. He knew she doesn’t have any self respect for her self that’s why he can play with her easily.
It her who put herself in such situations because of her arrogance, even Lady Giggs told her that Emperor doesn’t love her it was her who wants to leave in dulu state.

She’s being tossed around like a piece of garbage buuut so was Adelaide to an extent and she’s kept her values throughout. I don’t think Diana’s a good person now, though I think she is starting to see that all these men were never going to treat her as having individual value but she’s to far gone in her ways. I think the only “good” thing we can hope from her at this point is that she goes on rage mode and assassinates the emperor for us. Maybe she could escape and go live a humble life to truly learn what it truly mean to live for herself and others.
