This is why I love Lionel so much. He is easily in my top 5 of favorite MLs ever. He has always treated Adelaide with kindness and respect and not just her, he treats those around him with kindness and respect. I hate when an ML is portrayed like a good just bc they love the FL but are bad to everyone else. Lionel listens to what Adelaide wants, he doesn’t make decisions for her. He is supportive and open and honest. It’s true that in most stories in a similar setting, kinder MLs are left to the wayside in favor of the fix it project ML. Don’t you just love when an Fl has to do all the emotional labor in a relationship and raise their husband into the kind of man he already should be? Love that. It’s really great.😑
