Their names are confusing. Kal was special so he got zero. Makes sense. Then there were two in their litter from the OG FL’s magic stone, so Yul was two (Kal taking one as well as the having the most mana of the litter). Logic carries thus far.
Lev, three, and Rox, four, though? Unless they change names to keep up with the overall mana rankings as more births happen, how can these be accurate beyond individual litters? Even then, you can end up with multiple Yuls, Levs, and Roxs. Seems like a pretty ineffective system whichever way.
I wouldn’t call it obsessive. After all, the magician did try to rape the FL and he killed him not only to punish him but if he hadn’t he would have continued to attack her.
