She is using emperor marriage to gain this type of power. That was the sole reason of her to marry. While there are plot holes in this story, the author doesn’t have to share everything with us right away, maybe they’re saving it for later and if you think from her position (a princess) and not our position (a poor person) you can understand how she wouldn’t want to loss everything and burn the world down. I’m sorry but this female lead is the most useless powerful character I have ever read.
On one hand, I’m still shocked at how she was caught. They didn’t tell us how her powers were suppressed. But from being a general in the war, a leader in the war, to suddenly being a captive.
