why the hell do they have to keep an eye on franz? all three of them have the most power combined, they could just have one person killed and no one would say a word

like regression is really obvious to us, the readers, but to her the only truly mystical experience she has had has been transmigration. of course she would think that perhaps luca was in a similar situation to her own, thats only logical. also, she’s canonically not a super creative thinker. she’s not dumb but she isnt a genius by any means and she can be a bit slow on the uptake. it doesnt make sense for a character who isnt a super creative thinker to come up with a wild and far fetched explanation when theres an explanation that she already knows is possible and is extremely relevant to her circumstances that sticks out to her more

also, transmigration isnt impossible. it is true that luca’s behavior doesnt quite match up with what you would expect of an aged regressed character. for example, he doesnt seem to hold the behavior of his original aunt against her when he has every reason to hate her up until her death. he also isnt overly attached or protective of rudiger, who should be a SUPER important person to luca. so its possible he transmigrated
personally im hoping for age regression though and there are also plot elements that dont really make sense completely with transmigration either. basically luca’s behavior is strange and im excited how this author will explain it
i just really enjoy when an author actually makes the effort to make the thoughts, opinions, and suspicions of their characters internally consistent instead of jumping onto whatever popular trope or lazily relying on the what the readers ‘know’ to justify nonsensical behavior
