I wonder why previous Luca turned back time when everything should have ended up alright fir him. Was is because of his aunt? But what if she acted the exact same and nothing changed?
my personal theory is that when he achieved his ‘happy ending’ it was sort of empty for him
it was a revenge story where he lost everyone he cared about after all, even though he’d have eradicated his enemies he wouldnt have anyone to enjoy that peace with
either that, or he just really missed the people he lost and it was always part of his goal to use the wish to save them lol
those are just my theories tho, theres not really any textual support for it yet and im still not even sure if luca regressed :/ its def the explanation that makes the most sense for his behavior but its a bit incongruent with some of his behavior
