Luka spoke as though he had no idea the assassin would attack. So, either he isn’t actually from a past version of the story or the OG Luca didn’t know about the assassin, which I doubt since the FL has stated many times that the story is told from Luka’s perspective, meaning it didn’t have any other perspectives. This would mean the OG Luka would know that an assassin would be coming on the train
