The story starts off like any typical manhua out there – the female lead is suffering horribly and killed by a man (who has an affair with her equaliy horrible sister) before she returns in time, basically everyone is treating her like trash before that, and actually nothing really makes sense.
In the second timeline, things are getting better though, especially after a not-so-typical storyline develops around our heroine infiltrating the palace as a maid in order to investigate a drug-dealing-plot around her former murderer and her sister.
The story still has tons of logic-holes and weird events that are seemingly intended for more action, but it’s still very different from your standard manhua where the first half is about the cruel suffering of the female lead (including flashbacks) and the second is about the equally cruel punishment of the villainess (while the male villains merely lose their money and are quickly executed without much pain)…..
