He could have tampered with the MC’s memories. OR, he could have made up everything that was written in the novel himself!!
The original Giselle was nothing but a pawn for him to use and then discard–accused and executed. The dark magician who died has been killed by him as well.

The MC didn’t turn out to be what this guy wanted, however something unexpected happened–she caught Reneal’s interest, and although its a different method it still is going his way!

He is like an evil “priest”.
If Reneal has killed him and he has survived, it means he has gone beyond their knowledge with his magic. This is very dangerous. No wonder he ends up destroying everyting!
What Reneal said about the ‘source’ of magic and “holy power” being the same in this world means the ‘illusory border’ between ‘white’ and ‘dark’ is essentially nonexistent.
So categorizing one as good and the other as evil could very well be the doing of the ‘higher-ups’ to take advantage of the chaos!
Meaning that guy with an angelic appearance could conduct more vicious and hideous experiments to gain more ‘power’, although he is classified as a ‘white’ magician!
He is playing with both sides to rule them all! And thats how he ruins everyone and everything.

Hopefully Reneal and Giselle both know everything and ruin that guy’s plans before he gets a chance to inflicts a serious damage on them.
I feel bad for the other two protagonists at this rate. This guy kills every single one of them in the end!!
