The original female lead is in danger! Where’s the male lead? In a world inside a novel like this one he’s supposed to appear out of thin air in order to save his fated partner 😀 I’m really hoping for this trope now, since it might give us hope that the male lead will grow and step out of his momma’s shadow.
I do love strong-willed heroines like our current one – a lot so even. And I’m also hailing when girls/women help each other out, including a strong woman saving a weaker one.
However, I’m not really fond of cliché-storylines that make our current heroine meet the main characters by scripted “coincidences” wherever she goes, urging her into (re-)action…
