I think we’re misunderstanding and thinking FL is dumb cuz of TL issues, they’re not letting us understand the whole political situation.
From my understanding, she can’t leave the palace straightway cuz of her brother, the crown Prince. He’s politically alone and there’s a potential coupe going on, so her running away and disappearing could ruin that marriage with peace in mind, which could make people blame the CP and further drown him in politics.
I think she wants to buy him time, to warn him and try to sniff out the traitors, not to mention trying to get her revenge for ***
.
That’s my understanding at least 🙋♀️ so I think she’s just navigating through her options, balancing a new life with the ML but without abandoning her brother.
She’s not Mary Sue strong but I don’t think her actions are dumb either, they’re within what she can possibly do given her situation and background

This is shaping up to be really good. Contrary to other opinions, the fl isn’t dumb. I don’t know why they make such dumb comments about fl being dumb when all fl is trying to do is survive in a place where she has Noone to lean on. And from what I observe, her political intelligence is high, she just knows she has no power and therefore nothing she can do. She also knows if she follows her heart and eloped, cus trust me, she want to, her attendants and the crown prince who supports her will be done for. FL is kind of dumb………… her brain is for decoration and she won’t listen to her heart……….. chapter 10 and some events don’t make sense, anyway I wished just in case if FL dies another companion appears someone with brain……… I don’t understand why FL went to the very place where all she’ll face is hardship….. when she didn’t had anything to lose…… her running away won’t pose much problem because ML is already enemies with CPs allies…… and ML already told her stuff, so why won’t she make a proper judgement?
