@Mandragora i feel like the need to have them coughing up blood is because is the most effective way of showing a dangerous disease, i don’t know anything about making stories, but i think is more similar with how action movies exaggerate things for impact, just an assumption.

They always cough up blood in these stories like they all have stomach ulcers or Tuberculosis.
It’s such a silly trope and is almost always some kind of mana sickness and they always say it puts pressure on the heart. Heart problems don’t cause blood vomiting. The heart is not attached to the mouth by any tubes.
I’ve done it a few times but it was never mana related for poor me. Just being organ failures. Hahahaha #oversharing
