That “I won I did a good job” part was absolutely priceless. It really reflected how she lived, and how she actually thinks, and all the previous behaviour was all an act. this chapter was the first in which MC acted naturally without putting a facade in front of everyone, without preemptive thinking about what those people thinks about her doing this or that.
This chapter is so sweet, but also Aria is absolutely about throwing hands at a moments notice, didn’t give a fuck about smacking both of them ??????
It’s hella sad though, she seemed genuinely so happy to have won and had no idea that not valuing her own safety is really detrimental to her loved ones because she never thought anyone would care about her safety, because she’s strong, or she’s used to the pain ? poor baby.
