   I formerly dropped this. Now after reading all 64 chapters, I am questioning my past self’s judgment.
   A whole lot of the comments I saw only like the female lead or some other characters, but not many said they liked the ml. Why?? Just why?? The guy is literally a walking green flag. The only reason he was mean was due to the voice in his head, not anything personal. And I love him regardless. It’s not his fault he was being brainwashed, at least he’s not being a dumb Derrick or anything like that.
   Anyways I like him lol he is my second favorite character, first is fl.
   The female lead is actually very smart. She’s not dumb, though sometimes she is a little more forgiving or patient than I would be, that doesn’t make her intelligent status drop.
   The art is consistently good, the storyline is very interesting, all in all this is a solid 10/10. Very high praise, I know, but it is well deserved.

   READ THIS TO GET A OPINION IF YOU LIKE THIS MANGA OR NOT :

   At first I thought Killian is a big red flag and a total turn off (I mean what brings good looks if the character is that bad?!)
   but then it started to go on really well and their relationship just got from “Toxic and no love” to “I would do everything for you my love and I am here for you”

   AND it turned out he IS a walking green flag ( I am so happy that he isnt toxic like this stupid Cliff)
   If you like to read an interesting story that is not that toxic I would recommend this one

   EVEN THOUGH I TOTALLY HATE THIS ATTENTION SEARCHING PICK ME GIRL ( I tried to forget her name and now finally I forgot her name, so I don´t get a bad mood just by hearing her name)

   And this toxic obsessive evil Cliff is just trash (he is obsessed with the pick me) , I have my suspects and I wish some ppl in this freaking manga wouldnt treat the strong female lead (not the pick me) better and I think the pick me is actually the most evil one

   Now that Killian loves the better female lead she “suddenly” wants him, I mean theres no second chance! You already decided to get the evil, obsessive, toxic, strange Cliff, theres no come back! She doesnt even deserved Killians love, now he loves a better one and not her!

   Cliff is a extreme turn off and if it turns out he doesnt have Interest in the pick me anymore and starts to develop feelings for the better one, then Imma just listen to the song “Ick” and then Imma start taking out my middle finger everytime he does something in this manga

   The final result is : I have a love-hate relationship with this book , but in the end I have to say that I kind of like it,but I am not you (future reader)

   Even tho the most of the characters in the novel/manga are either a total turn off or strange (exept Killian and the better female lead) I would recommend this

   Read it or don´t, in the end its your decision <3

   It is actually really good.
   The art is nice and consistent.
   The translation is fine (few chapters that are strange can be found elsewhere, but this site has the most recent ones and in good TL).
   You hate some characters at first, but it is logically explained/hinted why they behaved in such a way, so you can’t blame them (don’t want to spoil though).
   Makes me anticipate what will happen next

    Don’t listen to any of those Edith haters in the comments saying that Edith is stupid or something, cause it’s absolutely not true.

    To me, all of the characters actually feel like real people, especially Edith. Her reactions are realistic, she cries when she’s frustrated or stressed, and that’s normal. She’s capable and competent ofc, but she’s still a human, and a human gets stressed, sad, depressed, and etc.

    Frustrating at first, but honestly, the ml got redemption arc WAYYY quicker than I thought. I was honestly surprised to see that this manwha only had 59 chapters, cause so far, everything feels fleshed out, and so good, as if it had 100+ chaps. I don’t get why there’s so much hate for the ml, while I do agree his actions and words to Edith before were horrible, it was because he was controlled by the plot/author. He had no say in his thoughts. And unlike other mls in other manwha’s,(cough, cough…) he actually atoned and apologised for his actions properly, and treated Edit fairly and lovingly after. Ml’s redemption arc was honestly way quicker than most manwha ml’s
