I think the reason why they deleted the bruises and all of that has to do with the guidelines? Because when you think about it, Edith’s past bruises were only one or two panels when they appeared, I guess drawing them for long chapters goes against the guidelines? And I really don’t like how much they deleted from the original novel, the novel had me sobbing at 4am like a crazed Banshee 💀
Some people are saying that the art of Edith is not as it was supposed to be compared to the novel, but I think you people should go and comment that on the orginal work instead of the translated work which is from a free site for us.

WHY OMG why did they change edith pitiful looks in this act💀they have been following almost exactly like novel but this part. i mean she just got beaten by the maid so it makes sense if she still have the bruises over her body. Even the novel said that she’s badly injured that it actually surprising that she could walk in that condition. Not to mention she couldn’t sleep comfortably and eat well for 2/3 days. Those aspects that makes Killian feels VERY GUILTY. And potato bags, gosh i cry when i read about potato bags
im just saying that yall should read this part of the novel. the manhwa skipped some parts even her appearance isn’t the same as the novel. it was really heartwrenching😭😭😭😭 that moment when she gave up running and letting the guards take her. even her husband’s pov. way better from the novel😭😭
