I’m just wondering as I’m rereading this for the idk time, and I saw the comments. So why does Nobody understand that Killian is brainwashed, he hears voices in his head all the time so he cannot sort out what his own thoughts are, and he cannot CHOOSE not to be brainwashed, as if it is that easy to do that, it’s very very hard to get out of brainwashing. But at the very least he’s starting to think as himself/not controlled thoughts. For the comment below, he is technically a victim of brainwashing.
literally, and while I’m against how Killian is treating our girl Edith, its not his fault as he’s controlled by the system and society. At the end of the day this story is set in an era where there was so much politics involved and its so hard to just change a perception you have of someone overnight when that’s all you’ve known your whole life and there is unfortunately evidence to back up those rumours which is why Edith can’t refute it to a certain extent. At least the man is trying, lets give him a chance guys 😭

And I love Edith’s illustration on the part where she asked Killian what should she do for Killian to believe her. She was really beautiful. In fact, I like her beauty than Lize’s.
