This happens in many other manhwas (it is common but people don’t realize it) where the ml and other characters (even minor servants) are rude to the mc, constantly slander her, test her, and provoke her(sometimes with stupid quests, fibs or questions). They somehow think they are in a position to judge them even if the mc is not trying to create an encounter/circumstance or reach a certain position in any social environment.
AND BEFORE ANYONE SAYS I’M CRAZY, og ml did this and taunted Edith a few chapters back by asking what she thinks about him leaving the residence (I’m glad she responded the way she did), and notice how he was SMILING IN THE OFFICE at Edith being in trouble. These people do it as a way to say “Give me a reason to have unfriendly relations with you” or “Let me see what you will say so I can put you in your place”
Another variation of people who do this is every Single Character who has the word “INTERESTING” come out of their mouth(carry your lonely ass somewhere else, cuz they say they bored smh😒)
(For strictly business it is slightly understandable, “put yo money where yo mouth is”).
Woww….this manhwa never fails to irk me to annoyance😅….I understand Edith’s pov..but I just can’t see the handsomeness of a man especially when he is the cause of my hatred for him😅
