This is 1 million stars. One of the best otome isekai I’ve ever read. A masterpiece.
Read it. You get the male leads pov at the end explaining EVERYTHING. This is a work of comedy art.
The female lead refuses to have a bad ending, and gurl- same. This was one of my fav reads all year.

The Mystery:
Some shady things are afoot in this mansion! And the MC has no memory of this place, as she has been transported here from earth.
The Horror:
Said shady things are leading to people’s death, and possibly building up to something much worse!
The Comedy:
The MC thinks this is a Romance Fantasy and refuses to worry. This is the running gag of the series. She isn’t “stupid “– she is plot mandated:to not pay attention, misinterpret all ominous warnings as something entirely harmless.

Sure, the title says so.
HOWEVER!
If you were to read +10000 novels/manga/manhwa/manhua/comics in 4 different languages such as myself, then you’d know that NOT ALL TITLES SAYS IT ALL about the content!
There are quite a large number of stories which have misleading titles.
The main reason to it be the ‘attraction factor’.
From bestselling novel/light-novels and comics all the way to the 2nd and 3rd rates and below.
Its more common among the 2nd and 3rd-rate works and below since they need to struggle more in order to get customers when overshadowed by all the leading works getting the most attention on the market.
Although its not that common to find the 1st rates and best-selling stories with such titles, but theres still quite a few of them as well.
Its specially the case with Japanese novels/light-novels/mangas.
A very good example would be the popular Japanese LN/anime ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?’.
The story is about the development of a weak but pure-hearted teenage boy going from the bottom of the food-chain all the way to hero who saves humanity etc.
He is so pure-hearted that he wouldn’t even notice if every single girl out there were to go crushing on him! Not to mention his one and only crush who is a heroine turns into something else entirely as he gets serious in his journey! Even that first crush eventually develops into a figure of admiration and a ‘goal’ for him to reach. He even surpasses that and goes beyond as he progresses in his journey to become a true ‘hero’.
Meaning, the title is totally irrelevant, and misleading to some extent. I know some people who were turned off by the title, and only started reading when they read all the reviews!
There are many such works of fiction and comics out there.
You’d find quite a few on this very site as well.

If you were in my shoes, reading a huge mountain of fiction/comics all through the years–not to mention my field of work, then that super-casual comment of mine wouldn’t have sounded that weird at all! LOL
Its pretty common if you delve deeper into the field.

@Deenadeen This kind of ‘confidence’ which allows a person so irrelevant to judge ‘a commentator’ who she/he definitely doesn’t have the slightest clue of who and what they are at all, in such an uncivilized and crude way, is the very evidance of that very person’s low mental capability, in other words stupidity.
Its not anyone’s fault that you declare your lack of smarts so loud and clear for everyone to hear now, right?!
Better grow up first before attempting anything or else you’ll just end up ruining your own image.

IM SO INLOVE WITH THIS MANHWA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i seriously love the fl and her oblivious and dumb personality grown on me. At first i was slightly annoyed but overtime just her being so dummy and silly while everyone is so anxious or scary was such a breathe of fresh air! Definitely read this just for funnies or you want to be hook on the hidden lores & plots while also being so dumb about it. I LOVE IT !!! Would definitely read more of it !!!

This is a horror-comedy.
Heroine thinks she is reborn into a fantasy romance but she is reborn into an HP Lovecraft themed horror complete with Cthulhu.
As a horror fan and a fan of these cheesy iskekai tropes, I found this delightful.
The heroine’s protagonist plot armor is impressive.

@AArtsy I don’t think anything comes as a surprise, even without the tag. The title literally says it a horror story. Idk what you expect. On another note, fl honestly seems a bit airheaded and stupid. She the type of person that goes, live in the moment and be yourself, but ends up regretting it later.

The FL is so dense, air head and hopeless romantic. That’s not too bad but a little uncomfortable.
Like every f- is so suspicious but she will go and say wow! That beautiful and wonderful. But every character like this can survived in horror movie 🤪
