I’m rolling with the belief that a) she resembles her dad which is prolly not a good thing, b) her memory thing and willingness to eat the meat = they are assuming she is being possessed by whatever great old one their house either worships or is meant to restrain. Also with an aside that maybe the previous owners ‘weakness’ was a result of not eating flesh. So…. yeah good luck for her.
