why are we being weird about seeing how things are in the future at the start of this. its a common narrative choice. the plot of this for now is clearly focused on the story of the original work shes found herself in and how she navigates that and builds relationships with characters in it. shes 8 and the book shes in doesnt even start until shes a young adult and the heroine shows up. this has been established already.
