It’s not like she used powers to do anything Iris just honestly wanted him not to kill her so she did her best to make sure everyone lived. In the end everyone stayed alive and because he realized through her not all humans are bad he choose to give her his trust
Theo just tolerates her bc Iris wants him to and it’s really fucking dumb that a) neither of the girls see that and b) that either is trying to force him to spend time alone with her. He pretty obviously hates her.
