I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that she’s being selfish. She knows that the duke has difficulty opening up bc of how others have treated him in the past yet still adamantly pursues him knowing (from her pov) that she’s going to die. That is such a huge thing to hide from him, especially when he’s now approaching their relationship more sincerely.
