The artist (of the series) doesn’t really do a good job of explaining. I think here they did crayon resist art where they draw with a white crayon then paint over the whole canvas with watercolor. The paint should only cover the parts that were not drawn in because the wax of the crayon “resist” it. I have no idea how that last painting ended up the way it did tho as if she knew he drew her lmaoo
@enig121598 agreed. I thought they only used white chalk on canvas or paper so how did Kyle’s painting come out multicolored if she only used blue?? Idk its a little scraped together for me
I really wish the classes would have been based on REAL types of art techniques🤦♀️
The demonstration she did in the courtyard was accurate, but it barely explained the process which involved oil crayons, followed by acrylic paint that dries on top of the first paint in order for people to carve over the black layer.
This so called “secret” painting makes no sense🤨
