Shortly after my parents were married, there was this woman who kept stalking my dad and even tried to get in the way of my parents relationship (she wasn’t even a former girlfriend or anything like that)….nevertheless, she failed (hahaha in her face) and just proves the point that no matter how “good” or “evil” you are, going after a married person is just so nasty and disgusting.
I love how ripley face this situation. Even when ibella acted pitiful she still remain calm and point out her mistake in a soft way without hurting her or sided with her

Hey, @Catfish you should watch your mouth, it’s true that she’s at fault for still loving a married man, but can’t you consider that she’s also a victim of political affairs??. It’s also not her fault that the child go through such painful situation shouldn’t we blame it to he’s parents for not paying attention and showing love towards him not only that her damn Mother is forcing him to act mature and doesn’t even care about him??. I can’t understand why you’re blaming that teacher, can’t you see that the queen plot to humiliate her in front of those nobles and guest? ?
We can just cheer her up, and hope that one day she’ll face the reality. You can’t judge a person based on what you saw when you still don’t know the whole story.

I’m glad Ripley gently made Ibella realise the truth about her relationship with the king. I likely would have smacked her a couple of times for her naive thought process:
Ibella: “We meet and dine occasionally. Just to be with the one I love.”
Me: YOU FREAKIN HOMEWRECKER!!!! HE’S MARRIED!!!!! THAT STUPID KING AS WELL!!!!
I’m still not mad at the queen for forcefully inviting and embarrassing Ibella in public because it was the latter’s own stupidity that lead her to this state! How does she still not realise that getting close to an ex-lover who is married and has a kid will NOT bring forth consequences?!?!
Not to forget she even calls herself a teacher, while she herself being a naive and stupid old woman in love and a house wrecker. So what if it was a political marriage? You gotta sacrifice one thing to get another, either have love and sacrifice money or have money and sacrifice love. The queen also left everything behind in this political marriage for what? A husband who already has a lover and even after so long of their marriage and even a kid, he still be playing fairytale lover story with another woman? She has every damn right to hate on these two and reprimand them, she is still a human afterall ,she also must feel hurt and wanted revenge but cuz of her status she can’t openly do it. I feel so bad for the prince getting mixed up in these sluty adults matter and the poor queen who is still standing strong after all these.
