   The story definitely has potential and several great ideas (I especially like the intrigues between the families involved, and how supportive the parents of the female lead are towards her), but it also has downsides to it just like others have mentioned before.
   I for my part do not understand how the female lead could have endured all the unfairness for years silently (really, all those flashbacks showing humiliating scenes and those men who are charmed by just one or two stupid compliments are really infuriating). But then, after leaving school she suddenly changes by 180 degrees … for no apparent reason actually? I’d expect some more of a key event and sudden support by the male lead to make this happen or something.
   Also we’re told the female lead’s parents have always been on her side, including her super magically powerful mother – which did not help at all against Tatiana riling up the whole school against the female lead??? Plus the mother kept silent for all these loooong years about her hunches that Tati used magic tools and her knowledge about Tati’s mother and so on?
   The weirdest thing for me is still the art – mainly how the mouths and smiles of people are drawn, this just rubs me the wrong way every time 😀

   I gave it a chance (read until the last released chapter, the 47th) because of what Neko-san wrote and also out of boredom and here are my thoughts: although it does have some clever aspects to it, they are underwhelming due to the shallow storyline and lack of depth of the characters, specially the antagonists.

   I’ll say that it’s marginally interesting the twist that happened w Tati’s husband, but even if his motivations drastically reframe the overall picture, at the end of the day he still betrayed Karina and abandoned her like everyone else.

   It’s also annoying that Aster is continuously kept as a mystery instead of actually letting the audience know the actual ML well enough to root for him. Being kind and decent to FL is the bare minimum, and not enough.

   The terrible translation also add to the sense of a lacking storyline and just overall silliness of the situations. They continuously justify everything by using magic, which is boring and uninteresting. I feel like it could’ve been good if it carried a political aspect or at least had a more defined plot than the overused “FL will be successful and get revenge” plotline. A pity, but indeed not worth following.

    It’s definitely enjoyable, but agree that it’s a mid story. Kind you binge in one go instead of eagerly waiting for the chapter drop every week. Going in my “wait for chapters to pile up before continuing” folder.

    Idk why but for me the story is mid, and the art style is not my thing. I laughed when I first saw the ML in the story, idk why, he’s on the cover so lol. It’s just kinda boring overall.
