I know that medicine like this is needed and all but as someone who comes from a family that has studied herbology and medicines, I will always choose the what nature has provided. It’s a little hard to see how half assed the way the FL “make/discover” medicines in these stories like it’s great that the temperature for the mold to grow is mentioned but just having mold in a Petrie dish isn’t enough to be convincing and it takes away from the story. At least make an effort to read up on what medicines were used and practiced during this time period.

2. They got magic so like in most mangas/animes technology will develop differenly. Look at our world, we had to invent everything but if magic would exist and most people would be able to light a fire or create/transfer water from well where they want there wouldnt be need to inventing simple thing like lighter or plumbing. As for medicine, she was a doctor in her previous life so she should know a lot about this stuf, and second, this is work of fiction, besides it would be waste of time to show how exaclty penicilin is made. If someone wants to know they could look into it in internet.
