We really going to ignore how he chose his guards over his daughter? His guards could of literally taken over for him as he rescued his kid. He’s not on a “redemption” path yet. He has a bad case of FOMO. Ultimately, they’re arm candy. If they go back now, he’ll just unalive them in the future, which is the FL wanted to leave in the first place. He actually needs to work on himself to get his family back.
I just say…. if Rupert were really someone who doesn’t care about his wife and daughter, he could agree to divorce but get custody of his daughter (as happens in reality).
The FL forgets that Leah is the Duke’s only daughter, he has a title, power, money and unfortunately for her he is a man; instead she would become a divorced woman with only the divorce money (maybe)
He deserves a chance since he has a curse.
Readers are feeling antagonize by Rupert, forgetting that Noel was originally a villainess as well, only difference is that she’s a transmigrator that’s why she’s different now and is more kind… I think Rupert deserves a redemption too, because Noel did her redemption (at least in the eyes of Lea and their maids)
I’m glad she refuse, his entire reasoning was nothing but selfishness and all about how he feels instead of apologizing for his actions. It seemed more like he wanted them back so he’d feel better almost like his family is some trophy that fills a spot instead of people he loves
