Okay, to all the children or has childish head space who kept yapping about the FL should divorce ML etc. You clearly do not understand what’s happening so this is not something you should read.
By Chapter 37, obviously, the ML’s curse is about him getting the urge to kill when he’s expressing his REAL feelings. Therefore, he has to pretend to be cruel to not get that urge so he can avoid killing the people important to him.
He’s a tsundere and someone who never experienced being loved. If I’m correct, he got that curse because of his cruel upbringing, you know that too cliche of a plot these manhwas have. He does not understand the concept of love because he never experienced it. When I was heartbroken, I felt things I’ve never felt before, so I didn’t know what to do with them – I resorted to some petty, nasty stuff because I didn’t understand what’s going on with me. Same goes with this ML. But sure, this doesn’t justify how he ignored his innocent daughter. No one taught him how to raise a child and he doesn’t have that natural instinct of loving someone since he hasn’t experienced it. But at least though, he wasn’t physically abusive with the child although, neglect and emotional abuse has bigger damage. But thankfully, as you can see here, Lea being an angel, is just a forgiving child.
That and on top of being married to someone who despised him from the beginning and berated him telling him he was an illegitimate child etc. totally removed his trust and abandoned the concept of love for Noel. Then suddenly, after all these years, she has changed. Like it happened overnight. Well, literally it did. If this happened to you, someone who’s been mean to you, suddenly, out of nowhere changed, won’t you be suspicious and more mistrustful of that person? I will. The reason you’re siding with the FL more, is because we can read her perspective. We know the truth behind her sudden change. Rupert does not, and I bet he will never know.
That’s the same for Noel but I think she’s forgetting that she too, has changed dramatically overnight and there’s so much overthinking going on in her head. So, for her to question Rupert why he’s changed, I don’t think that’s right. She’s got there, she’s able to discern why, but she instantly brushed it off. She’s also someone who goes to the battle head on, without knowing who her enemy is or where the enemy will attack.
The problem with couples like this, and I hate that these manhwas don’t want to easily resolve because they are monetizing from it, just so they can drag the drama, is COMMUNICATION. And not just any communication, should be a PROPER COMMUNICATION between two adults and at the same time, parents.
I find this manhwa funny actually, and I care less about the plot as long as it entertains me, but the comments on every chapter that I read, is always the same call for divorce, yada yada. Hence, this long comment from me. Lol.

Ok im back, i know i didn’t give it much of a chance since I dropped in two chapters in, but I always find the first chapter of the story very important as it’s a huge deciding factor of whether I’m invested in this story. And I was not invested in this.
This seemed like one of the cliche type of dying -> transmigrate -> trash husband story and I just don’t really dig it, also the art isn’t my style (not insulting artist I just don’t like it).
I’ve read many cliche type of stories like this and some are better than others, honestly the first half of the first chapter has already confused me to no end, and I just can’t be bothered with continuing to find a reason to read this.

don’t be fooled by the garbage art in ch0 – the main artist is different and has a much firmer grasp of basic human anatomy thank god. the plot’s got pretty decent character development and likeable characters bouncing off each other, with a subtle but present thread of overarching plot going for it. nothing groundbreaking, but worth the read
