This kinda dumb. Her doing exactly what they wanted got here killed in her last life. They won’t allow you to get you to live. I don’t understand how she knew it was a plot this last life but thinks keeping her head down will keep her alive with people who want her dead. Also letting her sister become Queen is stupid. Putting someone like that that has power over you at the highest authority gets you killed. For someone wanting her life she makes the opposite decision. I would have made sure to keep my engagement and go talk to the prince or at least send a message. Then find out about their crimes.
