The human body can forget how to do things if they aren’t done for a long time, hence why there can still be people who are adults who have to relearn what we see as basic functions and plus psychological issues can render the brain to stop use of a function such as sight or speech, may not make sense but it is the brain’s way of trying to protect itself. Sure we only see her being used as a tool for others to vent despite the toll it can have on her mentally but that doesn’t mean she could have gone through things that led to her muteness. She was forced from a young age to be silent and obedient like a doll so her father could have hurt her whenever she spoke and whenever she didn’t listen, leading her to just stop talking completely and since it started at a young age, she likely didn’t speak for a long time and thus her body forgot how to speak, she may know the words in her head, but due to years of not using her voice, it wouldn’t be at the same capacity as someone who speaks as much as everyone else until she can train her voice back to such capacity.

From what I’ve read so far it sounds like she was ‘brainwashed or manipulated to be mute

It’s really annoying when a fl fakes being something or they pretend to be stupid I rate it 2/10 I hope this gets better, There’s not so many good fls so far. The latest awesome fls are from don’t fall in love with the villainess & marriage alliance for revenge. Which needs updating please.
Nice to see victim blaming already. Her father made her do it likely against her will and at the end of a belt probably to be a wallflower to lure some young noble men in that will gift her things for him to sell but sure since she is a woman it must have been her plan.
Besides how is it morally wrong to not talk? She never said she was a mute, even if she just didn’t talk how’d that be a problem? Other people drew their own assumptions and treated her like an emotional trash can I’m not saying this is what happened I’m just saying I don’t understand how its morally wrong, other people obviously didn’t care about her so I don’t get it
