We may all be disappointed but in her point of view she right now need to prioritise her survival, that’s what she made herself think and what she thinks she needs to follow.

2: the reason the OG-villainess was killed was because she was evil, right? just DONT be evil ???
I hate when authors give their characters stupid ass mindsets.
She sure does talk a lot about things she “has to” do to not be the villainess and to survive…
With no supporting evidence backing up her assumptions. Absolutely no flexibility. She already decided to change the original, but acts like a character that believes the original is destined to happen anyways…
We already saw she has other ways of gaining money besides giving up Ben. Her critical thinking skills are on par with her naming abilities
