1. His only son, future emperor loves Bernet which she is close friend to Chersina,which on the other hand is also her benefactor. So basicly atacking Chersina is like atacking Bernet which in the end will harm Crown Prince
2. Chersina have good PR right now so like he said ,atacking her will only harm her
3. He cant marry her to CP cause it will make enemy of everyone, Chersina loves Ben, Ben loves Chersina, Bernet and CP loves each other so noo go.
4. Empress is fond of Chersina , loves her son and propably will also like or already like Bernet.
So basicly what Emperor can do is to let them marry as they want and use this to shift it away from Chersina if her PR bothers him so much. On the other hand this is all his delusions cause she dosnt want fame at all.
Some guy from her vilage , if i recal he wanted to take this blonde girl ,not Bernet ,Molly or something like that, as colateral, she get after them ,burned some of them and this barron had burns all over body, At this point Ben returned as a duke and take them away. I asume going back to like 25-35 chapter would clarify things, i may be mistayken about reason why they atacked her but it was something like that
