Let me make it clear for you mother….it’s for the same reason that Anne Hathaway (Jane Austen) could not realistically marry James McAvoy (Tom Lefroy) in “Becoming Jane” (2007) To her, Leon is a poor kid from the boonies with 5 to 10 siblings and elderly parents that need his financial help. He can’t marry a penniless girl with two younger siblings and a widowed mother. She can’t help him and he can’t help her. Love isn’t everything and it can’t conquer poverty.
The mother is dumb! Why follow the so called story line when it had already changed so much. Why can’t iris marry thr prince instead like ?????? stop trying to control everything ?
Shes really not dumb she didnt expect leon to be the prince so its not her fault cause she thought iris would marry a guy called leon which was the prince which she didnt expect the prince to be leon so shes not dumb its what u call unespected and have u been following? i thought it was pretty obvious and yes she can be frustating but not all the times
I wouldn’t trust that smell medicine early in the first chapters wasn’t there a woman talking about dog poop on an injury ?, who knows whats in that medicine. And if Lilly can go into art then maybe Ashely will do into something medical ?
