@MiscMech I understand all of that, but with the ceremony and ledger she should have enough to rid of them maybe not the duke but def the Aunt. But yeah maybe it’s too risky but at the same time to own power you need to act according ?
@broubrou she has no power inside or outside the family. Her relatives control her funds so she can’t hire competent/trustworthy people. They also have the political power within society and the other nobility. If she gets rid of one, the others will use the opportunity to strike. If she somehow removes them all at once, before securing her own position, her household would be in jeopardy.
Shouldn’t he be acting like he’s her uncle’s man? I suppose he’s trying to look like he’s acting as a double agent for the uncle – rather than just a spy/observer but still…
