yk peony is the same royal as her. If Peony wasnt rescued and lets say she got killed then her kingdom will go on a war with them honestly. Again Richt isnt in the imperial family anymore so he doesnt have that damn rule, hes on his own and he does has the rights to save peony instead of the damn impress. People might hate him more but again, he isnt in the family anymore and he doesnt have those obligations

There’s no war that would be going on if Peony died there.
