Well…. FL you knew this was coming. How did the mother die in the previous timeline anyway?? But still, she knew there was a possibility that her mother’s death could happen again. Why didn’t she try to talk her mom into leaving???? That’s the most obvious thing to do even if the mom refused to listen again. I get that they are poor, but what did they have to lose before getting to this point of ailing health? They should have left straight after the wolf subjugation.
I think they are being rational enough for keeping quiet because they’re not even doing anything and the villagers are already treating them like trash. What more if they talk back? People who are telling them to move out clearly doesn’t realize the fact that they are POOR. The mother is mentally not in a good state because of her husband and the MC is overwhelmed with emotions because she’s anxious that everything will repeat. How would they move if her mother still believed that her husband was still alive, what if one day her husband came home and they were no longer in the village?
The people who said move out of the village clearly didn’t read the manga =))) They are poor, no one want to help them, they didn’t even want to sell food to the mother, how can they move out? Walk hundreds of miles hoping to find another village??? In the winter???
