After all this senseless killing by one madman, why did nobody rebel against him and lock him away, like his very own guards for example? Why are there still servants working in this palace, why are nobles still visiting? Has this happened in the so-called “original” as well? If not, why is nobody saving the young prince from this highly dangerous place?
@Eveaustria because there’s no heir. this mad Emperor already killed a lot of people, including his own relatives so he could ascend/remain in power. now only the children remain, and they are too young to govern. also, Lachsville (or whatever ML’s name is) was the one that helped and supported this clown in the first place, ’cause he needed the excessive wars and conquests to quench his bloodthirst. finally, foolish nobles like Harissman think taking advantage/controlling the mad Emperor is better than having someone actually competent take the position, ’cause it benefits them more. these were all points covered by the story already, btw. about the servants, they are just commoners. it’s not hard for the royals to cover up their murderers, and even if they were exposed, so what? they can fabricate whatever excuse. wages and general working conditions must be better at the palace too, since the warmonger Emperor won so many wars through ML’s rampages, he should have a lot of wealth accumulated.
