The maid also probably bad mouth the crown prince so that the 2 would not get along and the the maid also give the princess the idea that the OG ML is the most desirable candidate.
But that is just “probably”. There’s also a possibility of the maid being loyal to the princess… She knews that the FL is a spy and such. But I go with the former.
