its a hard read but later on throughout the story you can see why he did what he did you have to really pay attention to deatail like why she feels better after a kiss or intercource because later on it will reveal whats actually happening.

Storyline itself is not bad, the execution is lacking.
FL, due to heritage in the middle of a royal conflict, looses her family and suspects ML to have killed them. He denies, but cannot convice FL. He pushes her to marry him to protect her and the fiance. FL proceeds and tries to unveil the mystery of her parents death. FL and ML are not too familiar with each other, maybe a childhood aquaintance, maybe a political move by ML.
The rape scenes and also threads of sexual violence (like having her raped by multiple men, as suggested in the stable scene) are completely unnecessay and do not add to the storyline (other than making the ML sus) – to me, he cannot redeem himself as an acceptable husband.

@Karice what’s wrong with your head the reason she gave herself in was because she didn’t wanted him to harm her lover had it not been for that she would’ve never given herself in I wonder what you would’ve done if you were in her shoes have some empathy like a random dudes pops in kill your family threaten to harm your lover if you won’t be his and when you agree cuz of threat even if you don’t want to some random commentor comments it was your will and random dude didn’t r@pe you and they are looking forward to more such chaps.

Disgusting. Waste of good art. Worse is that if he hadn’t raped her (yes, ML clearly raped her, that scene is revolting), if story progressed to a point where it was explained that he was actually the “good” guy, and that there were several misunderstandings, then romance could start from that point and story would good. But that rape scene ruined any possible redemption for both ML and plot. There’s no coming back from that

Only way I see to make this ok’ish is if she succeeds in killing him, slowly and painfully preferably
