I’m actually surprised at how refreshing this one is. the art is pretty, the translation is surprisingly good (though there are some mediocre to cringe chapters in between) and it’s really cute and amusing to read. The storyline is nothing too deep or intricate, but it is at least honest and doesn’t rely on rip offs or cheap drama. I actually enjoyed that FL got to know and love her mom before she was killed off to protect FL, and it’s honestly nice that they deal with it in a light-hearted way instead of being depressing and/or dramatic about it. So far (chapter 36) the world building and general premises, as well as characterizations, have held up nicely and developed well. Her uncle is a bit of an asshole but in a funny and caring way. All in all I would recommend it if you’re searching for something light and don’t mind childish (appropriately so since she’s 7) FLs and family oriented plotlines.
