Cliché, sure, but I’m intrigued to see where this goes. While it follows the usual characters for a typical contractual marriage storyline, some elements feel refreshing. The ML’s mother accepts and supports his choice. The FL is honest with herself about her growing feelings for the ML. Even the rival seems genuinely sincere in her feelings for him and is saddened by the events, rather than lashing out in anger.
