I am siding with the emperor on this one because half of the imperial guard joined their captain in the rebellion and sure mc is a knight but it says that she is injured earlier in the chapter and that’s why she got dragged there and she couldn’t really move to extent of if she didn’t have the chains so they have limited manpower and it is best to go back to the castle because then they regroup and make a proper attack on the rebels
