I think it was probs not drawn super well. I think it’s supposed to be one of those ‘oops I slipped and magically we kissed,’ tropes instead of what would really happen which is no front teeth and a broken nose.
So I don’t think she went in for the kiss. I think the sequencing of the drawings, not to mention the teenmanhua factor made it look that way
