When he says “You dare lecture me about suffering?”, does he mean that he is suffering seeing her like this? That he doesn’t like that she has to suffer because of everything that has happened, regardless if she’s pregnant?

But yea in novel he had his memories back fast (although no timeframe) but basicly was depicted he got em back after a good rest.

1–The elders are very sneaky so he faked it and acted somewhat being manipulated by them to get evidence if they slip up
.
2–He did not tell erin but he counted on her being so strong to handle the abuse for awhile (even in novel he does not know she is pregnant so thats what makes it worse)

3–Unless they change current chapter is the start of reveal as in novel Erin will have them locked up in the room wich leads to him admitting he was faking it

So unless changes wich at this point where few but they made it less dark in this version its still pretty accurate so far
