I’m liking this portrayal better than the touch aversion ml in “I Have No Health”.
In that, it’s clear that his trauma and mental issues were there to make FL more special by being the exception and having her love heal it. Not that I don’t like that story.

Idk. I think in ten years of living with someone you can learn to respect their boundaries, even if you don’t know the reason. Someone says they don’t like being touched, you aren’t entitled to their tragic backstory on the “why” behind it. Respect their wishes. A 20 year old should have caught on to that and also not taken her frustration out on others.

i like how she quickly confronts the problem and notices the signs, abuse in most stories are always used to give the ml a tragic past that only the fl can heal and usually the childhood abuse is never brought up again afterwards, as if it didn’t even matter. I hope the fl continues to be intelligent, knowing how authors sometimes tend to butcher the personalities of their characters.
