Why is this a beautifully depicted generational trauma. I dont expect this manhwa to be realistic lmao. And ppl react to generational trauma differently, both the duke and the duchess did whatever they thought was right but it wasnt good enough, so they ended up blaming themselves and probably each other. Thank god they have time to heal now, esp with a modern person who probably knows about these things more than them (who was raised in a restrictive society).
eiden’s parents love each other for a long time but they are so stupid and didn’t communicate at all. they misunderstood each other by thinking the other one hate temself and feels uncomfortable to be with them. tbh they are hopeless and pathetic to the point of divorce not until ellin encouraged the duke to talk things with the duchess and confess. it’ll gonna be kinda dramatic but only for a short while
I don’t think people are stupid for not being able to communicate. Most people actually do not know how to communicate. It’s fairly easy to say that when in every panel they legit show you the mental thoughts, backstory, spoken words, and atmosphere so WE as an audience can understand what the miscommunication is about. But real life isn’t like that. There isn’t a thought bubble telling you what someone is thinking. So no they aren’t stupid for not communicating properly. Most fights, misunderstandings, etc ARE because of miscommunication. Which isn’t just about speaking whatever is on your mind, it’s also about listening to someone else. The saying goes people are good at talking not speaking and people are good of hearing but not listening.
