MC is the duke and late duchess’s daughter, her current “Mother” is not her bio mother
The duchess was pregnant when the former emperor (MC’s “Father”) Kidnapped her because he was obsessed with pregnant women
MC’s “Mother” was also kidnapped by the former emperor, after he killed her husband and her child died
As known, the lady was another kingdoms princess and met the duchess as they were both kidnapped
The Princess helped the duchess escape and helped the duchess protect MC by pretending that MC is daughter
The duchess died, and MC became her daughter.
MC apparently also has a twin brother who looks like her, not sure about that one though
Also don’t know why the duke is now in love with Adelaide (MC’s “mother”) not saying he can’t fall In love again but 🤷♀️
