I can understand the hesitation BUT I will point out that SHE did want to tell them she didn’t know how. The children seeing the letter made it all the harder for her to say anything. They saw the letter from their parents and her saying “they passed” will be met with denial because how could they be passed if they sent a letter. I blame him 100%. How could he do that knowing his wife wasn’t comfortable with it?
